What are we checking?

Imagine you sell schoolbags. A buyer asks an AI assistant, “Which schoolbag is good for a first-grader?” GEO helps you check whether the answer includes your brand. GoGlobal saves checks so you can compare them later. It cannot make an AI assistant recommend you.

  1. 1Project = one brand's folder. Prompt = a question you want to check.
  2. 2Model = the AI service answering the question. Scan = asking it and saving the result.
  3. 3Start with a few real buyer questions. You do not need hundreds to learn the workflow.

Create your brand's folder

Sign in to goglobal.to and choose GEO Mode from the workspace switcher. Open Intents & Prompts; in the older menu, open Prompts → Manage Prompts. Click New Project. If you already have a project, select it instead of creating a duplicate.

  1. 1Give the project a name you recognize, such as “Schoolbag brand — US”. Enter the actual brand name and website.
  2. 2Set Primary Market to the audience or market you serve. Add the brands buyers compare you with.
  3. 3Save and check the selected project at the top. Review any generated prompts; remove unrelated questions only after checking them.

New Project can create starter prompts. Check your plan's project and prompt limits before saving.

Check the brand settings

Open GEO Audit → brand/competitor settings in the newer workspace, or Context in the older menu. Brand Name is the name to look for in answers; Website / Domain helps identify your own sources. A wrong domain can lead to a wrong match.

  1. 1Use the same spelling customers see on your website. Check the website address carefully.
  2. 2Add one competitor per row. Include its domain when possible; the current form supports up to six competitors.
  3. 3Save Context, or the save button on the active settings tab. Confirm the success message before leaving.

Finish one complete check

Add one useful question, then check its scan status. When a saved answer is available, open that question and read the answer summary and sources. Only then use the overview to compare results.

  1. 1Add a question such as “Which lightweight schoolbag is good for a first-grader?”
  2. 2Wait for the scan result. If it fails or stays pending, use the troubleshooting guide below.
  3. 3Open the prompt and check one model's result. Success means you have evidence to read, not that AI recommended you.
