
Most launch posts fail because they read like marketing copy. Reddit readers want the messy truth: what you tried, what broke, and what trade-offs you made.
A safe structure
- Context: who you are and why you cared about the problem
- Attempts: what you tried before building
- Solution: what you built and the key design decisions
- Limits: where it’s not a fit (say this explicitly)
- Ask: what feedback do you want from the community?
If you can remove every link and the post still helps, you’re on the right track.
